The goal of naturopathic medicine is to uncover the underlying root cause of any illness and dysfunction in order to stimulate the body’s innate ability to heal. Naturopathic Doctors are trained in various therapies that encompass their ability to treat each human being as a whole – including their mind, body and spirit.

Naturopathic Doctors are regulated health care professionals with a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Degree (ND). Naturopathic Doctors must complete a 4-year undergraduate university degree followed by a 4-year intensive medical degree at an accredited college. They them must complete their National Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations and their Regulatory Board Examinations in order to practice in the province of Ontario.
